till now, i can't believe i'm part of starbucks! it feels like yest when zun called me and told me i'm in.. and it's been 2 days tat i've been attendin lessons now. so amazin! the lessons hv been real cool. learn alot of new things.. the coaches were great! made new frens and stuff.. everybody's like so friendly and stuff...
back at my store, it's the same! though i dunno like most of them, there's this friendly atmosphere ard.. dean, one of the shift manager, will like scold u in a nice way.. jokingly way.. he tot hawa and i how to clean the window panels.. haha. we had to clean them yest and today. so tiring! then today, e other shift manager whom i can't rmb e name, just came forward to us to tell us how we can clean those panels more efficiently.. things like tat, it's feels great cos everybody's helpin each other to make our store the perfect place.. u'll get praised for doin a gd job and it's ok to make mistakes..
altogether, there's 12, 13 partners in our store.. of which only 5 are the most experienced. 5 just graduated and the 3 of us still learnin.. there's this amazin bookshelf there. anyone with unwanted books pls give me..
so sad i couldn't work tml.. obviously.. want to see wat it's like on the first day.. see the vips and everybody.. so, i'll wake up at 5am tml, head to suntec to see the opening at 7.30am.. i'm gonna be the first customer there!!! then ard 8.15am slowly trot to diners'.. sian. haha.. got a class at 6pm to... 10 i think. argh!!!
but i think starbucks will be a great place to work in .. they are v serious abt cust service and stuff. and the pple there are fun and cheerful and friendly.. at least the pple i know now. haha. but i think my store will be great! cos the pple outgoin de...plus zun's expectations super high. though i haven't heard cod speak .. yet.
oh ya, that evil dean, showed everybody where to throw the trash.. it's like at basement 2, some room thingy.. the room got 2 big rubbish containers for us to throw our bags into.. wah the smell can faint. dean made us all go inside to see see and ask us to look for a pipe to wash the containers' opening.. then he closed the door on us! i held my breath but still the foul smell could get into my nose.. darn. after awhile, dean opened e door and said there wasn't a need to clean the containers, it ain't our job. feel like throwin him into the container.
can't wait to start workin! but i think the test like quite hard... zee didn't pass his today and had to retake tml.. there's a theory paper in which u gotta score 100%. then practical, someone will order alot of drinks, probably with complicated orders.. then u gotta make it.. while practisin all the skills u've learnt.. smth like tat
tink i'm goin to be a walkin zombie soon le.. can start to feel the fatigue slowly crawlin in on me .. hope i wouldn't be yawnin all the way durin work, and be able to maintain my smile throughout.. dunno wanna disappoint anybody, esp myself..
