uncle yeo is a laughin joke. he is the chief taxi driver, in charge of dispatchin other drivers to diff pick up points to send starbucks partners home. so every night, he'll start callin up drivers, askin where they are, and dispatchin accordingly.
today, uncle yeo picked dean and i up cos it was still early. when we were gettin in, a bus appeared behind. the taxi was blockin the way. then uncle yeo started his string of hokkien vulgarities.. he said them so comically! shadn't write them down.
he parked at the bus stop in front and startin goin thru his list. then he called up this driver called john. from wat i hear, uncle yeo had asked him to go to valley pt at 11.30pm to pick pple up. and this john was actually waitin at holland village all the while! then uncle yeo started shoutin. really shoutin.. super oblivious of us. then his whole body will jerk and hands, legs moving vigourously. luckily he's wearin safety belt to hold him down.. then he turned to dean and said 'brother, i can vomit blood. vomit blood. i tell him go valley pt at 11.30, he waitin at holland village. now wat time already? then he still can f**k me cos he wouldn't get paid. @$#(&#($*&#(%^# if i hv a gun, i will shoot him. shoot him and go jail nvm. but i no gun. haiz, i go resign' we were laughin our head out, plus he's speakin in broken eng.
when we reached orchard buildin for transit, he gave permission for those who wanna go smoke. when nobody moved, he said ' wah, all so gd ar' then gave that cynical laughter (super like the way uncle tong laughs)
after tat he directed another partner and me to a taxi. the girl asked him whether there will be another transit. he said no. then she asked ' u sure?' . then uncle yeo impatiently said ' go home la. go home la' and shooed us off..
pray everytime i'll get him then at least not tat boring. reached home at 1.30am! so happy! cos normally ard 2am.. plus today i finished closin by 12.30am... which was wat dean expected of me. =p and i brought back home egg petite! fav! and verona tiramisu.. the tiramisu has a v strong alcohol taste! luxury sia...
wee! tml is an off day! finally can go home! but fri, i'll prob be meetin ratthaphong! hee... gotta slp now!
