i'm stressed up.... piles of hw... can't even find time to revise..... wake up at 5 am to go sch everyday to chiong work.. i'm like a freak now.. wah piang.. slp a bit more also cannot.. will get paranoid... now hv to depend totally on coffee to keep me sane.. like drug addict sia... use the net awhile to play and relax also cannot.. my mum will start to nag and nag and nag.. i already so stressed up liao.. really don't need tat extra noise from u... i've lost interest in almost everything! not even in the mood to listen to my new samsung mp3 player.. dunno y i buy also... this sat is meet the parents session... got ms choo! and i'm the last student.. wat will happen? i know my mid yr sux la... i also want gd grades....! help help! hope i can get thru everything ... may the force be with me

"Good morning Meridians. Your favourite canoe/kayak team recently concluded our 3 day picnic at Macrithie. I'd like to say that the weather was very nice. I am pleased to announce that we did not win. I happened to be proud of my dear Jacqueline Sng who managed to clinch a silver, second only to the amazing AC Fat Girl.
Unfortunately, King Jerry and his partner, Ronald 'Muscle Man' Li did not manage to win a medal, finishing in 4th place but we would like to congratulate them anyway. We would like to invite Ms Lai to present the budget throphy to Jac. We would like to thank Mr 'Catfish' Tang for coming down every Saturday to read his newspapers, Mr Lim, Ms Tan, Ms Seah and Ms Chua for their wonderful support. Have a nice day."

a thought suddenly struck me so i came to blog abt it... throughout my life, i DO NOT hv even one memorable birthday.. yes.. do not. i nv had celebrations with family or frens... although when i was young, my family will go eat out sometimes.. and tat's my present.. no kidding.. a meal shared by 4 family members is all i get... ok, i get hong bao from my grandma and aunt.. but can't rmb when i last received them... when was the last time i received smth from my relatives? bet most of them dun even know my bdae...

i don't get biggie presents like wat i share to give my frens... and most of the time pple forget cos i'm born on such a weird day... it's not my fault tat i want to see the world sooner... but it sure does let me know wat kind of frens i got... seriously, y do i bother to put in so much effort to search high and low, spendin precious time searching for presents for others, when i don't see tat effort recipocratin? and i spent alot of money.. not tat i m grumbling.. but ya.. sometimes i wonder y i don't see this happenin for my own bdae.. u know it's like, 'hey it's so and so's bdae, let's go out to eat at.... wat do we buy for so and so?' i hear that all the time.. i guess cos they mean alot to me, perhaps i don't mean alot to them?

it's just my luck tat i'm born on tat day... oh well. it doesn't matter. so used to it... thx jan for ur bdae wish.. will always rmb tat.

today is the last sea trnin i'll ever had...
wouldn't be wakin up at 5.30am in the mornin anymore.
wouldn't be seeing coach anymore.
wouldn't be doing warm up/cool down anymore.
wouldn't be running together anymore.
wouldn't be sweatin all out in the water anymore.
wouldn't be grumblin abt trnin anymore.
wouldn't be seeing turtles, squirrels and moniter lizard anymore.
wouldn't be carrying boats, lifevests and paddles to and fro anymore.
wouldn't be seeing the greenery and beauty of the reservoir anymore.
wouldn't be going toilet with my toilet partner, esther anymore.
wouldn't be sweepin the shed anymore.
wouldn't be tanned anymore.
wouldn't be usin tat smelly toilet anymore.
wouldn't be goin out for lunch with the usual after trnin anymore.
wouldn't be goin home with them anymore.
wouldn't be having the chance to sit at mcdonald with trish and esther anymore.
wouldn't be having excuse not doin work anymore.
wouldn't be a canoeist anymore.

after the compeition, there wouldn't be anything to look forward for after sch... suddenly we will be so free, wondering if we had trnin, we wouldn't be so bored.. after everything ends, we will all be seperated.. the whole gang wouldn't hv tat much to be together anymore.. the 5 of us also wouldn't be spending much time together... it was canoein that bonded us together, and it is also canoeing that will seperate us to a certain extent.. wat will we be doin on sat mornings and afternoons? definitely not with each other.. not all at least... to all my fellow canoeing gang, the time has come for us to go seperate ways, we may choose to be with our own frens or choose to stay together.. the season will be over soon... let us all channel all our determination tat we put in canoein into our studies..

to the both of u... there are not many days tat u two will see much of each other.. after this all ends, both of u will prob go separate as u two hv ur own clicks... stubborness leads us no where but a life full of regrets.. it does not harm to make the first move even if u are 'not at fault'. i'm sure both of u want things to return to before, but being stubborn will not let it happen... hope one of u do smth before things can worse.. is it worth it?

actually, the main motivation of this entry is to tell u all somethin my little brother, who is not as smart as his sister, which is me, said: our elder sis dyed her hair light brown, blonish kinda colour.. and i commented tat she looked like ah lian.. which my mum agrees... then my little bro actually said 'tot all ah lians are botaks?'. i got a shock! then burst out laughin non-stop.. then he went on to say 'don't they hv pink hair?' goodness.. wat has my bro been doin all these 16 yrs?? so i guess all ah bengs are botaks la.. includin all those baldin old man...

today during free period, eve, kez and i were talkin... basically kez was talkin and we were listening.. hmm.. i realize tat a child's upbringin is v important to shape how the child will be in the future.. i keep sayin her mindset is abit skewed.. but then, i think mine was also skewed regards to canoeing.. so i think i wasn't right to say her la... but then maybe cos i've a bigger, more urgent issue to settle so i divert my focus from canoeing... but then kez didn't.. maybe tat's y she thinks the way i used to think... anw, the conversation has set me thinking...

let me tell u abt mrs chong:
one day, i asked her maths in class. she used my pencil and kept breakin the lead! break until she said 'aiya, give me pen'.. for those who know her, u can imagine her face! haha so funny... then another day i asked her maths again, she took my pencil.. then i said 'u want a pen?' she replied, 'don't need, i'll be very gentle'. haha!

then yest, i wanted to meet her to go thru my papers. i smsed 'hi mrs chong, this is ur dearest bey yan here. can i meet u at 9.30am tml to go thru my papers?' she replied ok.. then today, i go find her tat time, she wasn't there!! john was also w/ me.. later, she sms me say she got lesson!! wah piang.. my recess was wasted.. hmph... then i sms her say that 'ur dearest johnson also will be coming'... then she replied., 'he is most welcome'.. haha. i can imagine her face at that pt of time! haha toink.. dunno funny or not but i find it funny..

oh... i slp in class.. nv do work in class.. then mrs chong say i v slack and lazy, dunno how to make use of time... but when i finished first order tutorial v fast, she say y i so kan chiong... wat she want?? i v confuse.. toink toink..

enuf of mrs chong la. oh.. she must be v sad cos mrs loh is goin to china, cos they both gd frens.... her husband posted there to work.. so she also must go.. like mrs ho like tat. fly to holland..

u left me alone for so many mths now.. how could u be so heartless to leave me without any warning? do u know how devastated when i knew my life wouldn't be the same w/o u? i wish to find a new one, but i've lost faith.. this morning, i was quite bored, then i suddenly think of u after so long.... if u were ard, i wouldn't be bored at all.. i wish u could be part of my life again.. i really hope so.. (to those who are wondering, i'm refering to my ipod! wat were u thinkin?? gotcha! heehee)

haha, i spent like 15 mins whining to eve and melody (mostly eve, poor her) haha.. so sad lor.. then i sms a fren to whine also .. haha!

today ms choo made some of us write the sch song on the board.. .wonder wat's she is up to sia.. tot she makin us do silly things.. in the end she told us tat we shld identify with the sch songs as it is meant for us.. interestin... haha..

oh! forgot to say i saw a very very very beautiful RAINBOW today! kez, eve and i were just talkin abt rainbows and how long we haven't seen it, while waiting for ms choo, then when eve and i went to the toilet and saw it! u can see all the colours of rainbow.. it's such a long rainbow.. eve and i shouted to kez to come over to see.. then kez ran like mad. leaving all our valuables behind.. but nvm la.. the rainbow is magnificent! violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, red.. so happy to see one after so long.

i've got a new and improved timetable! (sounds like promotin shampoo sia). anw, thx to eve, i've learnt how to make my timetable looks so wonderful! i've liquided the econs periods, recess and lunch periods.. and photocopied it... look at my timetable now, i see breaks all over! woohoo! so nice to look at.. haha.. :P

how how? i think there's not much time left till the prelims.. so many things i dunno.. panic!!! then i also quite lazy at times and is the type tat will go slp despite unfinished hw... but then, since when does bey yan bother so much abt exams?? since now!!!! i wanna do well.. 3 As!!! and a pass in gp of cos... if i cannot be as gd as my sis, i want to be at least somewhere near.. i want my parents to be proud of me.. and they can show me off in front of my cousins. ya.. i want this to happen.. and i WILL!!!!

ok anw, i think i've changed..this time, positively! haha.. i've straightened up by thoughts and through with feelin depressed.. and i've been more matured in my thoughts (at least tat's wat i think) haha.. also, i've stopped worryin so much.. wat's urs will be urs.. if smth is not meant to be, no matter how hard u try, u wouldn't succeed changin things... haha.. i think tat's a gd change..WO ZHANG DA LE!!!! haha. but then, i'll still be as childish as ever! heehee.. (although i know sometimes pple just can't stand my childishness), but nvm la, the world will be boring if there aren't pple like me (and tricia too, unfortunately).

speakin of tricia, that 'shameless' woman throw herself on dharma!!! (dharma is our junior) tsk tsk... keep running behind him so tat he can protect u .. then dunno where u touch also lor.. i know the society has accepted jie di lian.. but dharma has a bright future.. haha.. lala.. mrs wong!

E, O, F... and a D7 for Gp... screwed? totally.....

finally takin a short break from work after such a tirin week.... must work hard now.. real freakin hard so tat i can make it... i'm proud tat i've been startin to live the life of a mugger... but i guess i've neglected my frens?.. hmm.. found a muggin mate and he is johnson! poor me, hv to see him not only in class, but everywhere else.. but nvm, i nice la.. to johnson: u still owe me a drink!!!! haha.. shall start my search for an expensive drink now, so u better save up!

chronicles of life and death is a very nice album! been hooked on it for days.... the lyrics are v meaningful.... mostly abt humanity and how evil human can be.. but there are songs tat relate to many, the feeling of helplessness and stuff like tat

Sometimes, you look at a person and you feel that you want to be better friends with him/her.

Sometimes, you feel close to a person, but to him/her the feeling is not even close to mutual.

Sometimes, you're in an event where you have to live with a group of people over a period of time, and you'll want to be the noisy, proactive one who goes around livening everything up. you make a total fool of urself and you try to crack hilarious jokes, act stupid and put up momentary happiness for your group. but at the end of the day, everyone else gets bonded, except you.

Sometimes, people do things like hang out together, and they leave you out. and they say they forgot. but "forgetting" shows how much you really mean to them.

Sometimes people say "hey are you alright, why're u looking so sad", but the next moment they're off having fun, probably forgetting the fact that you're unhappy.

Sometimes, you see a friend in need of something, but you just don't know what. and when you attempt to give him something, you get it all wrong. and your friendship blows, leaving you feeling all stupid.

Sometimes, you think that you have a very wide circle of friends, but ultimately, people see you as nothing more than an entertainer. a second choice. or maybe a last resort.

Sometimes, you yearn for friends who trust you with their innermost secrets, but because of your outgoing, noisy nature, people don't see the trustworthy side of you, and you really become a full time entertainer. a second choice. or maybe a last resort.

Sometimes when you feel tired of talking, and you keep quiet, people realise there's something wrong with you and they go "eh how come so quiet" because the "entertainer" in them has gone all quiet and they're not used to it. that's probably cos you're supposed to be the full time entertainer. a second choice. or maybe a last resort.

Sometimes, a message from a friend brightens your day up, but the next moment you realise that he didnt really mean it cos he forwarded it for the sake of forwarding it.

Sometimes you talk alot to make people laugh, out of the best of intentions. but when it gets slightly overboard, people see you as the main culprit.

Sometimes, you just feel that something like "friendship" is never real, but rather always superficial. because friends do not always respond to your calls and requests as spontaneously as ur mother or father or sister would.

Sometimes you wanna say something very very much, but you just cannot because you know that not saying it would leave the situation or person involved in a position much better off.

Sometimes, you want to hide in the room and cry out loud, but when the room door is locked up and you're all ready to cry, you just feel this sickening sensation that sends you hanging in between crying and not crying.

Sometimes you just know that people are better off with others instead of you, and you feel painfully upset about that. but you never want to do anything cos you just feel inferior.

Sometimes the pain becomes so unbearable...and you wanna call for help. But what recurs in ur thoughts is "Who will care?...", and you scroll down ur phone book aimlessly, meaninglessly.

wth am i doin here at this time of the day blogging when i'm supposed to get ready for sch? cos i woke up early as usual just in case smth went wrong and i wouldn't be late for sch cos of tat... lala...

yest, a nus canoeist (i think) approached esther, en and i from behind and ask us to help carry his boat out cos the bushes in front of the shed is blocking his way.... then esther and him started a conservation on how irritating the bushes are.. he sounds friendly.. haha... anw, we helped him and went to the toilet.. later on, tricia and i are walkin along the pathment to get our slippers and he walked towards us.. then he asked me for the time.. tricia tot he is my fren cos the way he asked was like 'hey wat's the time now' instead of 'excuse me, may i know the time'... haha.. i was surprised, like he know me v well like tat.. but he's friendly la... after tat i was sweeping the path just outside our shed.. he saw me and said 'wah.. so domesticated ar.. '.. haha glad there's still nice strangers ard.. made my day..

yeah i know u are disappointed.. everyone is.. but.. wat can i do? u said don't cry when u come back... i hope i don't.. really. cos i know the ending..

kk.. going to prepare myself for sch now.. meetin esther at our usual place so don't wanna be later then her.. lala.. ciao!! be back soon to update on how xian my first day of sch is..

just back from cycling at east coast park with li hui, yan ling, jun jie, kim heng and chin seng!! wat a hot day! luckily i don't get burnt tat easily cos i used to it le... hmm.. we met at 11am at bedok. i woke up at 9.20am and quickly rush thru things and get out of hse.... we hired the bikes for 2 hrs.. and there's 2 hrs free.. so tat's 4 solid hrs...

we headed to bedok jetty first.. but the road was blocked cos the asian trialathon was goin on... haiz.. so we had to turn back. then we say mei yin and maggie.. they were officials for the event... i suggested cyclin to esplanade.. been wanting to do tat for a long time but last time they all didn't want to u.. we cycled to the other end of ecp, then when on to esplanade cos we had about 3 hrs left...

i took lead cos i know the way.. i was kinda still a beginner i guess.. used to be afraid of cycling on narrow pathments, or when there's alot of pple cos i scared i will bang them... there was two ways and i chose the one tat leads to the platoon.. big mistake... cos most of the time we had to cycle on the main road.. and there's alot of cars.. thru out, kim heng and jun jie were complaining.. and 'scolding' me for suggesting to go cycle to esplanade... we stopped at indoor stadium but toilet quite far so i took them to the platoon to refill our bottles.. i was hopin to see ah hee.. but he wasn't there...

we carried our bikes up stairs to merdeka bridge and cycled down to the sea sports club.. where we had to carry our bikes down the stairs again.. there was a pathment tat leads straight to esplanade.. this time it was smooth riding all the way.. sea breeze... sand... nice! hmm but to our horror... there was dragonboat compeition near shears bridge!!! so many pple.. then we took a vote to see if we want to contiune or head back.. we went on ahead cos esplanade was just in front.. i took lead. again.. haha.. then i saw ah hee just standing there in front of me! think he already saw me b4 i saw him.. i called out his name and waved.. he said: 'wah so free to come out ar' haha then i replied.. and said bye to him.. think he also takin part in the competition.... we cycled thru the crowd and i was quite surprise tat i didn't stop the bike.. and wasn't scared of the pple.. i was able to manuever thru! so happy. ...

haha.. we reached esplanade.. then it seems like a rain will come soon.. then we head back to ecp... so fuN! took the route back cos the indoor stadium route v ma fan.... we stopped at KFC to buy a drink cos there's free refill... but... we hv only $2, and the smallest size drink costs $2.05! wth... we had to go back to ecp then...

cycled back towards the jetty. hopeful tat the competition has ended and we can pass thru... stopped and chat with yin and mag.. by then, it was 3.05pm.. no time to go jetty and back .. so we went back to return our bikes... went to mcdonald's to clean ourselves.. bought a hot fudge sundae with extra fudge! haha.. then we went to kiliney kopitiam.. was looking forward to go there.. quite a long since i've been there.. ate french toast along with ice tea.. haha i so pig.. lala.. took bus home with jun jie and chin seng.. saw mr oh at tms bus stop.. his hair has grown! haha..

think today everybody had fun.. haha.. too bad we didn't go ubin! jun jie, ur fault! haha but we will go there nxt time.

gotta go now.. going to play maple story with jun jie..

quite a fun day.. let me tell u abt it:

went bugis to meet tricia and esther only to realise tat the guys also there cos they want to eat.. no wonder they later then me.. tot i late sia... hmmm. we went to pasta mania to eat.. then ronald, ben, john and pk went home while jia qing and wei qiang went with us to go shopping... we went to bugis street cos tricia wanna buy a top there.. then no where to go so head back to parco bugis.. but also no where to go.. so we went to check out the food fair.. the theme is on the food of the 60's.. i wanna eat the ice ball! i ate it once.. so fun!... the whole street was super crowded.. after esther say find a place to sit down and talk... we went to coffee bean and sat at a table.. the table was not cleared.. all the empty drinks were still there.. they we pretended we just finish the drink and were relaxin.. haha.. so funny... then we decided to leave cos quite bad la since we nv buy anything.. we want to drink bubble tea but rockery does not provide tables and chairs so we went to the tea house... there, the drinks were expensive.. and buy 2 bubble teas at rockery when u can only buy one there... we took v long to decide wat to order.. in the end, jia qing, esther and wei qiang chose their drinks.. after tat.. wei qiang suggested tat we just eat the snacks then buy bubble tea at rockery's... haha.. then we each choose a bao!!! so funny! like go a tea house just to eat bao?? but esther also ordered cheese toast.. i think the waiter got shock when he saw our order! haha.. then we happily eat our bao.. the cheese toast is nice! but kinda salty... had our bubble tea at rockery's then i went to buy good charlotte's cd: the chronicles of life and death... $22.90.. hope i didn't regret the decision! am going to listen to it soon.. lala...

anw, tricia , esther and i didn't go home straight.. went to walk round tm.. then went to mc donald's cos tricia wanna eat dinner.. had a great chat with them.. talkin abt our lifes... now and then.. how things hv changed.. abt canoeing.. abt other pple.. all sorts of things also talk.. i like such conversations..

now tat i've more time, i've decided to practise piano again! cos very malu when my frens ask me to play piano for them but i can't cos i am rusty le... been a few yrs since i've stopped playin cos i was busy with canoeing... starting to practise techiques to make my fingers more flexible and agile and also learning to play 'canon in d' cos the girls like it.. esp en.. haha dunno y also la... i think it's so so only ... haha... there's so many beautiful pieces tat one can play on the piano.. i like maksim's songs but can't really find the scores... lala.. all my 10 cousins, except 2, hv learnt piano at one pt of time.. perhaps cos our aunt is a piano teacher so she encourages all of us to learn.. but only my siblings and i learn from my aunt cos we the youngest! the rest learn from my aunt's fren... my aunt is gifted... the way she plays.. the passion and all.. wah! but then her health not v gd, and her fingers also give her problems so she hardly plays... my eldest cousin and my sis inherited are also v musically inclined.. my eldest cousin is the pro! she can listen to a song, and play it out immediately.. play piano also v nice.. my sis also.. haha i think my bro also quite gd.. lala.. except me! cos i'm too lazy le. unless i find this song that i really like i will practise until i master it.. haha my sis and i used to learn gu zheng too! haha.. tat's in pri sch... cos my mother tot tat we shld learn smth diff cos all our elder cousins learning piano.. but i like piano more... am finding piano scored now.. still can't find tong hua! argh!. lalala

tml i'm going cycling with my usual cyling mates jun jie, kim heng and li hui.. this time round, yan ling, mei qi and maybe chin seng will come too! actually we planned to go ubin! i want to there cos i've nv been there before.. but jun jie say got bird flu.. toink toink.. haiz. so we will go east coast park.. haha... as usual.. lala... hope nxt time can go ubin!

oh my god! just heard from my LITTLE brother tat mark chan has been posted to Bedok South Sec to be the VICE PRINCIPAL!!! omg.... from a pe teacher to a vp??!! oh gosh... wat will happen to all his adidas t shirt and shorts? as a vp, he gonna hv to wear pants everyday.. and he don't really look gd in them cos he's of below ave height and he's big size.. the muscular type... there's this adidas tee of his tat he bought in a range of colours! one day he will wear the orange one, the nxt day the black one.. haha.. he's the best pe teacher nxt to kok wei! humourous, easy-going.. always so jovial.. y he go bedok south?? it's not just about his sports attire, he's an EX-TEMASEKIAN! tat's y he teach in tms... so sad...

finally exams over! woohoo! lala... i watched 'war of the worlds' today... it's an action pack movie but utimately it's just abt the aliens attacking and tom cruise tryin to escape the attack while protecting his loved ones.. i liked it cos there's alot of unpredictable things unlike watchin a ghost movie... hmm... but the ending... wah ... the narrator said some sentences .. i didn't think much of it until my fren told me wat it meant... wah piang.. super lame.. i can't say much abt the movie cos got pple haven't watch.. but i hv to put the last few sentences down. "the moment they stepped on Earth, breathe our air, eat our food and drink our water, they were doomed." go figure...

today at psyhio, my therapist ask me to buy the 'insole'.. it's smth u placed inside ur shoes to raise the arch of ur feet.. it's for pple like me who are flat footed.. the custom made one costs like $500! i got shock.. didn't expect it to be so much.. the off-the-shelf ones hv harder cushion and costs round $90.. also ex... but my therapist say tat for my case, cos the whole structure hay-wire.. the insole will only help relieve pain by abt 20%... i'm considerin... if i buy it, i wouldn't be able to buy the good charlotte cd 'chronicles of life and death' and i wouldn't be able to get myself new clothes.... i also wouldn't be able to go out eat for awhile b4 i get money again... opportunity cost so high...!

oh.. tat fren of mine finally replied... the reason for not replyin is tat he/she was very very busy with sch stuff so no time to reply... eh? wat sort of reason is tat?

Finally!!! I did well for my exam.. I requested for a mp3 player.. not a hi-4 set.. my mum say she will buy for me at a later date… (which may signifies NEVER!!)..

Yesterday, my mum ask me to help my younger brother wash his school shoes.. I say why.. she say u muz help you younger brother, he is younger than you… then I say he promised to help me wash last time, he oso nv.. my mum shouted..” why u everything jin jin ji jiao (muz count so clearly)?” then I say he so big size, taller than me, fall sick oso can wash his own shoes wat.. my mum say u jealous for wat..

I was like thinking “what the?!?!” it’s like all my fault liddat…
